I am Redeemed Bought with a Price

I am redeemed, bought with a price,
Jesus has changed my whole life.
If anybody asks you, just who I am,
tell them I am redeemed.
Where there is hat, love now abides,
where there was confusion, peace now reigns.
I'm a child, child of the King,
it's all because I am redeemed.

He purchased my redemption with His own precious blood,

In the good times praise His name
In the bad times do the same

With all the good things that had come his way
Is it any wonder you could hear Job say
"The Lord giveth and He taketh away...I'll still give Him thanks"

And Job's world came crashing down

Satan tries to tell you that God's let you down
But through every dark hour the best thing I've found

I have heard how Christians long ago
Were brought before a tyrants throne
They were told that he would spare their lives
If they would renounce the name of Christ
But one by one, they chose to die
The Son of God, they would not deny

I'm Thankful
I am especially thankful for the warriors of this Christian faith, that have been faithful and good examples in how a Christian ought to live for Christ in this present world. They fought, conquered and made it home to glory. I intend by the grace of God to follow in their path.
May all who come behind us find us faithful
May the fire of our devotion light their way
May the footprints that we leave, lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey
