I'm Thankful

It's Thanksgiving Day in Canada and I am very thankful for all that the good Lord has done for me and my family, and the people He has brought into my life that have impacted me and my family in positive ways.

I am especially thankful for the warriors of this Christian faith, that have been faithful and good examples in how a Christian ought to live for Christ in this present world. They fought, conquered and made it home to glory. I intend by the grace of God to follow in their path.

May all who come behind us find us faithful
May the fire of our devotion light their way
May the footprints that we leave, lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey

This was a painful GJ short I took this morning, and my trading platform froze as soon as I entered the trade. For almost 15 - 20 minutes I could do nothing, so as soon as it unfroze and I had 3 pips I just closed the trade - leaving 75 pips on the table :(

I was very reluctant to take these CT trades but could not help it when the CSM was given very strong support to sell after a favourable Scotland referendum result, implying the result was already priced into earlier market moves. 25 pips in total and will stand aside until final result released and the market settles down.

Good morning traders

The GBP weakness against other currencies as a result of the Scottish independence poll is very apparent but it is distorting the true picture of the market with a 140 pip gap opening. I have taken 2 GBPUSD shorts and exited as quickly as I entered, and deciding to call it a day before I do something stupid. If I had remained in my 1st trade, I would be over 50 pips now but this is not the kind of market I want to trade and therefore going to rest with my 8 pips until the market settles down. Capital preservation is my goal and the market will be here tomorrow.

Tried to nail this one for 10 pips before the NFP release but as I hit the close button, alas the error message "invalid account,"  and market began to turn taking my pips with it . My broker just changed my password but since my terminal was still working, I thought no need to change it until I close the platform and open it again. I was wrong and paid for it with some few pips but I quickly changed the password and closed for half of what I would have gotten. I'm still grateful
