EU & ECA Long Trades Triggered
EURUSD & EURCAD trades triggered but not taking them due to mild strength in both USD & CAD, which gives little or no edge in the trade. My goal is to trade strong against weak currencies; so if a potential trade previously identified does not conform to this last entry condition, I will stand down on the trade.
There is no need to trade daily - we look for nice setup; wait for strength and weakness and go for it. EJ trade from 130.80 now @ 131.27 while CHJ from 105.75 now @ 106.19

Seem to be a Reversal or Rest Day After the Big Move from Last Week
Took this trade based purely on JPY weakness, and unlike the UJ that had 2 resistance points (YH + R1), this had only the R1 to break. I chose to close it immediately due to this resistance point since I was just fishing and will wait for proper retest and break before entering again.
We seem to be in either a reversal or rest day after the big move from last week, and will stand aside to see what happens prior to the start of the US session. What I like about my system is that I will not be in wrong trade as all my potential trades were not triggered; even though I may miss some reversal trade(s). The system will definitely reset within the next one or two sessions. The test continues.

II Kings 3:17-18 "For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain
Just read this devotion and was blessed. Trust you are blessed and encouraged as we commence a new week.
II Kings 3:17-18 "For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye and your cattle..and this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord.."
To human reason, what God was promising here, seemed impossible..but nothing is too difficult for God. Without a sound..and without any signs..and from a source seemingly invisible and impossible, the water flowed the entire night..and the next morning, there it was..the land was filled with water..and the sun was shining on that water!
Our unbelief is always desiring some outward sign..and the faith of some seems to be based more on sensationalism than anything else. Some are not convinced of the genuineness of God's promises without some visible manifestation. The Israelites watched the parting of the Red Sea, and yet still doubted...and spent 40 years making an 11 day journey. The greatest triumph of a person's faith is simply "to be still........to be Still.......to be....STILL.....and KNOW that He is God."
As we step out in faith, in whatever situation we are in..and without seeing or hearing any sign or any sound..we take our first steps into the water..and we watch as incredibly as it is, those waters begin to divide. Continuing to march ahead, we see a path opening up for us in the midst of the sea that could normally cover our heads.
A.B. Simpson wrote, "Whenever I have seen God's wondrous work in the case of some miraculous healing, or some extraordinary deliverance by His providence, the thing that has always impressed me most was the absolute quietness in which it was done. I have also been impressed by the absence of anything sensational and dramatic, and the utter sense of my own uselessness as I stood in the presence of this mighty God, realizing how easy this all was for Him, without any help from me".
When God speaks to us in a situation, our role is to simply take Him at His word..obey quickly when asked to..and then be still. In the story above, the people were asked to "make this valley full of ditches". They did so, and then were still...as the water came pouring in from God's supernatural source to fill them. What a lesson for our faith!
May the Lord grant each of us the faith that acts "BY faith..and not by sight"..and may we expect to see Him work..even when we see no wind or rain.

The Indispensible Man
The Indispensible Man
Sometimes when you're feeling important

Deuteronomy 8
10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.
11 Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:
12 Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
13 And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;
14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the Lord thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;
15 Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.

The Cheetah as the fastest Animal in the World
Although the cheetah is the fastest animal in the world and can catch any animal on the plains, it will wait until it is absolutely sure it can catch its prey. It may hide in the bush for a week, waiting for just the right moment. It will wait for a baby antelope, and not just any baby antelope, preferably one that is sick or lame. Only then, where there is no chance it can lose it's prey, does it attack. That, to me, is the epitome of professional trading. - Mark Weinstein.

I use the H1/H4 TFs as my bellwether and strategy is to look for setups on the M15 TF and enter on the M1 TF, which therefore allows for very tight stop. Sometimes I get stopped out quick at BE but overall, I have made more pips and reduced losing trades to less than 10% which is my goal and money management style. I believe that if we protect capital, we will be here to trade another day. If I get stopped out and the setup is still intact, I re-enter the trade.
I don't need to trade every day as a 25 pips daily average on a full size account should pay the bill. Remember, slow and steady wins the race - we are not competing against anybody but ourselves. Think about it. The day I realized I did not need to trade daily was the day I started making consistent pips in the market. I wait for my specific setup and trade it. If it is not there, I stand down as I know it may not be there every day but when it is, a 50 - 150 pips is possible, and therefore need only 7 - 10 days of a good setup to make my monthly target. So why the stress or getting emotionally charged with every trade!!!
